Dodge Charger Grill Installation Instructions

Recommended Tools: Pliers and allen wrench 3/32 inch

Please read all instructions and ensure that all necessary parts are included before installation. We recommend using a high quality automotive wax on your new grill (Polished and Brushed Stainless only, not painted grills) to help maintain its original finish. See bottom of instructions for details.

These instructions cover most Chevy, GMC, Ford, Dodge, Toyota and Nissan models. However, you may encounter different situations when installing your grille depending on any aftermarket parts that have been installed.

  • Remove the factory plastic hood that covers the area between the grill and radiator by removing the plastic plugs or screws that fasten it into place.
  • Remove the bolts and mounting brackets from the parts kit.
  • Place the grill insert over the factory grill, making sure that you have it completely straight and centered with the vehicle.
  • Insert a screw through the pre-drilled holes on the grill and place a bracket behind the screw by reaching between the grill and radiator.  Hook the bracket onto the factory grill and screw the bolt into the bracket.  DO NOT tighten the screws completely because you will need to adjust the entire grill once all the brackets are in place.
  • Once you have the grill aligned properly you can tighten the screws just enough to hold the grill into place. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN as this may case the grill to warp or the bolts to break
  • If your grill has a white protective coating on the front you can now peel that off. After removing there may be a sticky residue on the cut edges of the grill. This can easily be removed using WD-40 (the pens work best) which will completely remove the residue very quickly.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING A HIGH QUALITY AUTOMOTIVE WAX ON POLISHED AND BRUSHED STAINLESS GRILLES TO PROTECT THE SURFACE OF YOUR GRILL EVERY COUPLE OF MONTHS!! Over time you may notice that your grill will start to have small spots of "surface rust”, this can be caused by many different factors including but not limited to:  dirt, humidity, salt or other debris that is picked up from the road. To PREVENT this from happening we recommend using a high quality automotive wax on the grill when it is first installed and every 2-3 months thereafter. If surface rust builds up on the surface of the grill you can use WD-40 to remove the surface rust, you can then use an automotive wax to protect the finish again.
